Reigning champion older mare Idiomatic rolled to her sixth consecutive victory in Friday's $1 million La Troienne (G1) at Churchill Downs.

Xigera opened up whole new hunting grounds by conquering Saturday night’s Seneca Overnight S. on the Churchill Downs dirt. Later, Lady Radler surprised in the Dogwood (G3).

French import Elusive Princess reveled in soft ground in the Saratoga Oaks (G3), which turned out to be the only turf race contested at a rainy Spa on Friday.
