Race Summary |

VICTORY GALLOP, outrun early while saving ground, reached easy striking
distance as the field tightened up beginning the second turn, remained inside
until approaching the five-sixteenths pole, swung out deftly six wide when
entering the stretch, wrested command nearing the furlong grounds and increased
his advantage under hand urging to win impressively in record time. NITE
DREAMER, rated three wide while stalking the dueling leaders from early on,
moved boldly four wide approaching the stretch, reached the front between calls
at the quarter-mile ground but wasn't a match for VICTORY GALLOP in the drive.
LITTLEBITLIVELY gained a slight edge inside early, dueled with CONNECTING TERMS,
held on well until approaching the stretch and weakened gradually. SILVER CHARM
hopped at the start while breaking a bit awkwardly, recovered to race within
easy striking distance while lightly rated four or five wide, moved with the
winner while inside that one approaching the stretch but flattened out the final
furlong. PRECOCITY, within striking distance most of the way, had no rally. DA
DEVIL swerved out at the start, followed the leaders five or six wide
approaching the stretch, came out further in the track for the drive but came up
empty. CONNECTING TERMS also hopped a bit at the start, recovered and went up
early to contest the pace outside of LITTLEBITLIVELY, held on well for six
furlongs and weakened steadily thereafter.

FREE HOUSE broke slightly in the air but vied for the early lead between horses,
angled in nearing the first turn, dueled inside DR. FONG, then responded gamely
to urging along the inside through a stiff drive to hold sway. EVENT OF THE
YEAR, close up outside early, stalked the pace outside SILVER CHARM, bid three
deep on the second turn, challenged alongside the winner through the stretch and
continued gamely but could not get by. SILVER CHARM, came a bit off the rail
past the wire the first time, stalked the pace toward the inside, dropped back a
bit on the second turn, angled out in upper stretch and came back on outside the
top pair late. DR. FONG prompted the pace outside the winner, briefly put a head
in front early on the backstretch, battled between rivals on the second turn but
weakened in the final furlong. PUERTO MADERO (CHI) angled in nearing the first
turn, saved ground in a good striking position, dropped back on the second turn
and came up empty. SIDON (CHI) trailed a bit off the rail and was outrun.

Race Summary |
---|
PUERTO MADERO (CHI) settled in good position just off the early pace, tucked in
behind the leaders while saving ground along the backstretch. swung out to
launch his bid on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, surged to the
front in midstretch then edged away under a vigorous hand ride. BEHRENS broke
inward brushing with EARLY WARNING at the start, was reserved for a half while
racing in the middle of the pace, closed the gap along the inside on the turn,
angled three wide while rallying on the turn, made a run to threaten in upper
stretch but was no match for the winner while finishing well to best the others.
SILVER CHARM was unhurried early while three wide on the first turn, raced well
back for six furlongs, gradually gained while four wide on the turn, drifted in
slightly in upper stretch then rallied mildly to gain a share. HANARSAAN was
outrun for seven furlongs, rallied along the rail leaving the turn then improved
his position with a late run along the inside. SIR BEAR forced the early pace
from outside, battled heads apart outside LITTLEBITLIVELY midway on the turn,
gained a slim lead in upper stretch and weakened in the final eighth. TRULUCK
raced in the middle of the pace to the turn then failed to threaten while
drifting out in the lane. UNRULED was far back along the inside on the turn, was
angled out in upper stretch then lacked a strong closing bid while finishing in
the middle of the track. LITTLEBITLIVELY took the lead soon after the start, set
the pace under pressure to the top of the stretch and tired from his early
efforts. FRISK ME NOW raced in close contention while four wide to the turn and
gave way. WILLING in hand early, faded after going five furlongs. CRYPTO STAR
was never a factor and pulled up in distress after the finish and was vanned
off. EARLY WARNING chased the early leaders while three wide and stopped on the
turn.

Race Summary |

SILVER CHARM went up to vie for the lead soon after the start while inside of
WILD RUSH, raced in the three path and dueled with that one, was headed between
calls entering the backstretch by WILD RUSH, regained the lead soon after, lost
the advantage again to that one just before going six furlongs, recaptured the
the lead approaching the final quarter, again was displaced in front by
LITTLEBITLEVELY approaching the final furlong, then dug in tenaciously through
the late stage under right-handed whipping to prevail. LITTLEBITLIVELY, nicely
maneuvered inside soon after the start, saved ground while stalking the leaders
in hand, was eased back a bit at the far turn, made a bold run from the rail
entering the stretch, brushed the inner railing nearing the final furlong while
reaching the front, then was outgamed in the final stages. WILD RUSH broke
alertly, dueled with SILVER CHARM while outside that one racing four or five
wide, reached the front briefly on the backstretch and again on the second turn,
continued close up into the final furlong and weakened only slightly. RUNNING
STAG moved inside on the backstretch, raced within easy striking distance,
lacked room briefly in the upper stretch, then, when an opening appeared, lacked
a final response. HANARSAAN, outrun and unhurried for six furlongs, came out to
make a run six wide approaching the stretch, came out a bit further when
straightened for the drive but failed to respond. DAWSON'S LEGACY stalked the
dueling leaders four or five wide until nearing the stretch and came up empty in
the drive OAK LEVEL raced in contention for six furlongs and failed to respond
when the test came. ACCEPTABLE was finished midway of the second turn.

Race Summary |

AWESOME AGAIN, unhurried early, advanced four wide midway on the second turn,
split horses and angled inside the drifting SILVER CHARM leaving the furlong
grounds, then finished strongly under steady left handed pressure to be along in
time. SILVER CHARM prompted the pace four wide down the backstretch, rallied to
gain a narrow lead entering the stretch, then gave way grudgingly while drifting
wide in the final furlong. SWAIN (IRE), well placed early while saving ground,
angled four wide late on the second turn, gained near even terms for the lead in
upper stretch, then bore out badly the remainder under steady left handed
pressure. VICTORY GALLOP, taken in hand early, advanced inside on the second
turn, then finished with good energy just inside the winner. CORONADO'S QUEST
sprinted clear, maintained a clear lead under a long hold, remained a sharp
factor to deep stretch, then weakened. SKIP AWAY pressed the pace in hand while
saving ground, then came up empty through the drive. RUNNING STAG, steadied
early between foes, then failed to reach serious contention. TOUCH GOLD, in hand
early, offered a mild bid approaching the three-eighths pole, then flattened
out. ARCH pressed the pace three wide down the backstretch, remained a forward
factor to upper stretch and tired. GENTLEMEN (ARG), well placed, was through
after three-quarters after racing wide and was eased through the stretch.

SILVER CHARM stalked the pace outside FREE HOUSE, bid three deep into and on the
second turn, took a short lead in upper stretch and pulled clear under urging.
FREE HOUSE, tracked the pace off the rail, bid between rivals on the second
turn, dueled between foes on that bend, could not match the winner in the final
furlong but was second best. SCORE QUICK, sped to the early lead, set the pace
inside, dueled inside on the second turn and to midstretch, then clearly bested
the others. SOVEREIGN M.D. came off the inside on the backstretch and was not a
threat. ALBAHA saved ground and was outrun. DON'T BLAME RIO, outside SOVEREIGN
M.D. on the first turn, found the rail on the second turn and was done early.

SILVER CHARM eased back bit into the first turn, was angled out soon after,
moved up outside WILD RUSH nearing the second turn and after a prolonged drive,
finished on even terms with that rival while brushing with that one in deep
stretch. WILD RUSH vied for lead off the inside, gained the inside entering the
second turn when challenged by SILVER CHARM, came off the rail for the drive and
held on tenaciously after a long drive to dead heat SILVER CHARM while brushing
with that one in deep stretch. ACCEPTABLE contested early pace inside, couldn't
keep up with the top two on the second turn and gave way the final quarter.
MAGNIFY reserved inside, steadily dropped back the final three furlongs. IAN'S
THUNDER far back early, never reached contention.

unhurried early, came 4 wide into lane. AYRTON S allowed to settle, had no
response, and was no threat. SILVER CHARM stalked pace off rail, dropped back
